DOGS TRAVELING TO PHL FROM HIGH-RISK RABIES COUNTRIES
Dogs that DO NOT require a reservation with Gateway Animal Care Facility:
-Dogs arriving with a current CDC import permit. This permit is issued directly through the CDC, and allows dogs to enter through any US airport with a CDC quarantine station.
OR
-Dogs who are at least 6 months of age, hold a current U.S.-issued Rabies Vaccination Certificate, have an ISO compliant microchip implant, and who appear healthy upon arrival.
If your dog does not meet the CDC requirements above, and you are planning to fly into PHL airport from a high-risk Rabies country, you will need to make a reservation with Gateway Animal Care Center. We will transport your dog from PHL airport to our facility where it will receive a thorough USDA veterinary exam and Rabies vaccination. If indicated, your pet will also quarantine at our facility for 28 days.
Veterinary examinations are done Monday through Friday from 9am until 2pm. We strongly recommend that your pet arrives at PHL airport Monday through Thursday to avoid extra boarding charges.

Dogs with Non-U.S. Rabies Vaccination with Rabies Titer: $850 USD
This package includes:
Transport from PHL Airport to Gateway ACC
Post-Flight Accommodations (1 day/1 overnight)
USDA-accredited Veterinary Exam
Rabies Vaccination
Customs Clearance (up to 6 pets on same AWB)
Travel Crate Sanitizing
Additional fees:
Airline fees: $100 – $250 (varies by airline and method of travel)
Weekend/After-hours arrival: $300
PAYMENT IS DUE IN FULL TO RECEIVE RESERVATION CONFIRMATION
Dogs with Non-US Rabies Vaccination without Rabies Titer: $3,850 USD
This package includes:
Transport from PHL Airport to Gateway ACC

Internal and External Parasite Treatment
28-day Quarantine (Rabies Vaccination Date is Day 0)
USDA Veterinary Exit Exam

If your pet is not up-to-date on the following required vaccines, add:
Distemper Vaccine: $25

ADDITIONAL TESTING
If your pet displays any sign of illness during the intake examination, the CDC and USDA may require further testing, treatment and additional quarantine. These additional services will be at the owner’s expense.
EXPEDITED SERVICES & CANCELLATION POLICY
While it is our highest hope that your travel experience is a smooth one, we understand that flight arrangements for your dog can and will change. We at Gateway Animal Care Center will do our very best to accommodate these changes, but because each reservation requires a significant amount of coordination, the following fees apply:
$500 expedited fee for reservations confirmed within 48-hours of flight arrival.
$250 cancellation fee for reservations canceled after the booking is confirmed.
